The time has come when the three famous monkeys are telling us more about society than most would care to admit.
"Hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil" may be a much more solemn warning than anyone ever thought the three playful monkeys could communicate.
Hear no evil
It has been decided by James Risen, and the editors of the New York Times, that "Hear no evil" is the future of journalism. The New York Times has elected to "report" to the public on a highly secretive classified NSA program that has allowed our intelligence officers to monitor the ongoing discussions between suspected al-Qaida operatives and folks here in the United States. While the program is highly sensitive, top secret and apparently vital to preventing future attacks, Risen and company seem to have no problem with telling our enemy how not to talk to each other.

This endangered lemur species lives only in northeastern Madagascar. It eats fruit, nectar, leaves, and seeds, helping to pollinate flowers when it feeds on nectar and spreads pollen that has stuck to its long nose.
